The Mothers Study club gave j a well arranged program and social so-cial last Friday afternoon, in commemoration com-memoration of Mother's day, at the home of Mrs. Hilda Grant. Mrs. Mae Fletcher was assisting hostess. President Ella Reynolds with appropriate sentiments and poems welcomed the Mother's day guests. After community singing,, Mrs. Ada B. Harrison gave a tribute to the mothers. The club trio composed of Mrs. Gladys Boyer, Mrs. Philda Finley and Mrs. Gene Pierce sang two ! selections, accompanied by Mrs. Eva Crandall. Poems on mother were given by Mrs.' Louisa Wain-wright. Wain-wright. At roll call each mem-,ber mem-,ber introduced their guest. Howard How-ard Salisbury gave an especially interesting talk on the "Mothers j of Yesterday and Today." Each guest was presented during the afternoon with a beautifully decorated dec-orated measuring cup. Dinner was served at one long table upon which Indian motifs were used. Later the group was entertained ; by several lovely Indian songs by I a girl's chorus and Miss Helen Palfreyman. A review of the i Indian drama, "Taiwa," which was founded on the Indian legend, was p-iven in an interesting mariner mari-ner by Miss Lillian Russell.
