Show CITY JUDGE AND POLICE MAKE REQUEST It has come to our attention, j that a great many home owners 1 of this city who are trying to , have their premises display the I beauties of the culturing of flower beds, good looking lawns, and other vegetation for the purpose of beautifying their home surroundings, sur-roundings, and that such methods . of beautifying are at various times, being partly, or completely destroyed by stock, such as cows horses, and sheep, having trampled trampl-ed over their premises, and eating eat-ing off said vegetation. In ac much as this is the season for the driving of stock upon the highways to various feeding grounds, we therefore make request, re-quest, that all stock owners will please see to it, that your cows and other cattle are kept upon the highway or street while you are taking them to the pasture or other feeding grounds, and not permitted to trespass upon the premises of another, as we have a city ordinance which prohibits such an offense, and same provides a severe penalty to offenders. We therefore give notice and feel that all broadminded citizens i who are cattle owners, will have 1 respect for other people's rights in this regard. We also further state that if there are any who do not give heed to this request, and permit per-mit their stock to trespass, then the court will m$et out the penalty pen-alty as provided, to such offenders. offend-ers. In the matter of the writing: which appeared in this paper last issue, by way of warning, we wish to state that such warning was not from this department, however, how-ever, we de wish to state that the. complainant which was mentioned mention-ed in the writing of last issue, did have his premises trampled upon which resulted in the destruction of flower beds, and other garden stuff, by the cows of West Hutch-ings, Hutch-ings, we have had many other cases similar, brought to our attention, at-tention, and it is for this reason that we do hereby make special request as stated above, and we hope al lwill take it to heart without with-out the necessity of having to bring another citizen into the city court, for such an offense.
