Show County Farms Get $100,000 Benefits Farmers of Utah have been paid more than one million dollars dol-lars during the past year by the Agricultural Adjustment administration adminis-tration for their participation in the conservation program, according accord-ing to LeRoy C. Funk, state secretary of the AAA. This figure includes payments up to July 15 for the 1936 crop year. The net amount paid directly to the cooperating farmers was $924,405.29, and" the remainder was paid for organization expenses, ex-penses, most of which went back to committeemen comprised of farmers, Mr. Funk said. The payment made Utah county coun-ty is $100,680.74. |
