Show Hobo Wiliiams to Meet Fred Steele WASHINGTON, July 20 U'.R) Hobo Williams who perfected a jolting punch fiphting all comers for a circus, will have his big chance at professional fame tonight to-night when he meets Middleweight Champion Freddie Steele of Ta-coma. Ta-coma. The Washington light-heavy-i weight will enter the Griffith stadium sta-dium ring, where more than 10,000 fans were expected to gather if the rain of early morning subsided, sub-sided, with a weight advantage of more than 12 pounds. Steele was a three-to-one favorite fa-vorite in the non-title, charity affair because of experience and a slightly harder punch even than Williams is said to have accomp-i accomp-i lished in a year of professional boxing. |
