Camp CCC NEWS Co. 9o8 Hobble Creek F-30 During the last two weeks the spike camps located at Diamond Fork and Payson canyon have been experiencing difficulties with flood waters from the rain. At Diamond Fork the water Hooded the tent floods and carried away articles of clothing, foodstus and some tools. At Puyson canyon the roads have not been passable making it necessary to use tractors trac-tors to negotiate roads. c c c The recent rains have brought the flowers in camp out into full bloom and the beauties of each Long and Mr. Cropper will train in life saving and swimming. c- c - c Dr. R. C. Merrill, district educational edu-cational adviser and Adviser Isaacson of the Price camp were overnight visitors Thursday night. They were on their way to Price to install Mr. Isaacson us the educational edu-cational adviser at that camp. c c " Captain Alvin Sess"3ns and Educational Edu-cational Adviser Chas. DeGraif ! will be speakers at the Assistant Advisers conference at Fort j Douglas during the coming week, j Captain Sessions will talk on "Personal Appearance" and Mr. j DeGraff will discuss and demonstrate demon-strate leather handicraft. All conference sessions will be held j at the University of Utah. species is something for lovers of flowers to behold. Farns-worth Farns-worth of the Utah state liquor control commission was the principal prin-cipal speaker, He gave a very spirited talk on allegiance to our country and complimented th group on their splendid work and the appearance of the camp. Mr. Farnsworth was accompanied by Mr. Robinson an inspector with the commission, who spoke briefly and also complimented the boys, especially on the quality of their bed making. c c c Captain Frank E. Milam who has be&n assigned to this company for training during the past two weeks, received orders Thursday to aKUtti command of CCC Company Com-pany 6S5 at Gunlock, Utah. Captain Cap-tain Milam left Thursday night by bus for St. George where he will go by passenger car to his new assignment. c c c Friday morning Ray West, assistant as-sistant educational adviser and members Blaine Cropper and Floyd R. Long left for Fort Douglas Doug-las to attend training courses for ten days. Mr. West will receive training in education and Mr. |
