Show DEMOCRATIC DELEGATES ARE ELECTED One of the heaviest attended attend-ed Democratic primaries in the history of Springville named a slate of delegates for the state and congressional conventions instructed in-structed to cast the precinct's lj votes for Henry H. Blood for governor and J. Will Robinson for congressman. With the Blood supporters outnumbering out-numbering the Maw faction at the primary, the entire delegation was pledged for the governor. The delegates are: Mrs. Marie Fennell, Mrs. William Weight, Selvoy J. Boyer, Mrs. J. W. Grant, H. A. RoberUon, G. W. Mendenhall, Menden-hall, W. W. Clyde and E. A. Strong. Alternates are: Mrs. Vern Crandall, Mrs. A. W. Harmer, William Wil-liam R. Eddington, Arnold Roy-lance, Roy-lance, S. L. Mendenhall Sr., H. T. Reynolds, Claude Eggertson and Ernest A. Boyer. Alternates to the state convention conven-tion will be delegates to the congressional con-gressional convention, and delegates dele-gates to the state convention will be alternates to the congressional convention, it was decided. Chairman Chair-man Theron S. Hall was in charge of the meeting. MAPLETON Richard Bird and Mrs. Ella Bird were named delegates to the state convention at the primary held Saturday night. They were instructed to vote for Maw for governor. The same delegates will be alternates to the congressional convention.' Delegates named to the congressional congres-sional convention are Mr. and Mrs. Bert Whiting. They will also be alternates to the state convention. |
