Show MRS. A. PIERCE SERVICES SET Funeral services for Mrs. Silvia Winn Pierce, wife of Andrew Pierce of this city, who died late Monday night following several weeks' illness at the family residence, resi-dence, will be held today at 2 p. m. in the First ward chapel. Burial Bur-ial will he in the Evergreen cemetery ceme-tery under the direction of Clau-din Clau-din funeral home. Mrs. Pierce, well known church worker of this community, was born in Smithficld, December 2.'), 1S68, a daughter of Thomas and Elizabeth H. Nielson Winn. She came to Springville years ago, and has made this city her home since. Mrs. Pierce took an active part in church work of the First ward, especially in the Relief Society So-ciety organization, of which she was a teacher for a number of vears. She had also worked in the special activity department. She took a. special pride in her flower garden, growing some of tile most beautiful plants in the community. She has spent considerable con-siderable time nursing among the sick. She was married to Mr. Pierce in the Manti temple Ma roil 29. 1891,.
