Show ' Art Gallery Popular As A Meeting Place k Should a survey be made of the most popular assembly halls in ' (his vicinity during the month ' of April, the Springville high t school art gallery would undoubtedly undoubt-edly rank foremost. The pictures there continue to attract hunlreds 1 of visitors daily, with a large ' number registered from far away, i In an effort to avoid conflicts as much as possible in the groups ' who plan to visit the gallery, a calendar of dates of those who have already signified their intention in-tention to visit the gallary, has been arranged by the art commi'l-! commi'l-! tee. Although the calendar lists ) only a few of those who probably j will visit the gallery it will un- doubtly assist the management ' considerably. ; Those who have made special reservation thus far are as follows:: fol-lows:: Thursday Kiwanis club; B. Y. U. group; Sunday, April 12, 5 p. m., Provo Relief Societies, high school music program; April 13, Utah County Mental Hygiene Society and Current Study club, evening; April 14, Fourth ward Relief Society, afternoon; April 15, Payson club, direction of Blaine Winters; April 16, All Kiwanis Ki-wanis club night; April 17, Provo Women's club; April 24, Alpha Beta club; April 25, Nebo school teachers institute and art tour. Mis. Mae Huntington, Wayne Johnson, J. F. Wingate, B. F. Lar- , son of the B. Y. U., and V. O. Hafen are among those who have been asked to talk on the pictures on these various occasions. Among the groups who have already viewed the pictures are the Mothers Study group; a CCC camp group; and the Ladies' Literary Liter-ary club, together with hundreds of individuals. Several meetings and special programs also have been held in the gallery affording citizens an excellent opportunity to view the pictures. |
