The association, of which Herbert Beyers is general manager, man-ager, is the turkey marketing agency for about 40 local cooperatives coopera-tives in these1 states. It anticipates antici-pates marketing a maximum of 15,000,000 pounds of birds between now and next August. This may be compared to 3,500,000 pounds sold during the first season of its operation in 1930-31. Last ypar the volume amounted to 7,000,000 pounds. Men and women leaders, representing repre-senting 24 counties of the state are expected to attend. Adequate housing facilities can be provided on the campus for 53 men and 53 women in addition to the home agents and agricultural agricul-tural agents; however persons attending at-tending should bring with them sheets and blankets, Director Peterson Pet-erson said.
