Show EDA KENDALL SERVICES HELD "Well - attended funeral services were held in the Fourth ward chapel Tuesday afternoon, for Mrs. Eda Wheeler Kendall, wife of. Lloyd Kendall, of Heber City, who died Friday in a Salt Lake City hospital, following a major operation. opera-tion. Solon A. Wood of the ward bishopric was in charge of the services. The speakers each of whom told of the fine qualities in the character charac-ter of their departed friend, were Howard Salisbury of the ward bishopric; S. L. Mendenhall, former for-mer ward bishop and Bishop Joseph Argillc of of the Heber City Daniels ward, in which Mrs. Kendall had resided since her marriage. Music was given by Mr. and Mrs. Guy Brown, who rendered a vocal duet; Harvey Hutchinson, Vera Wheeler and Hannah Rowland, Row-land, each of whom rendered a vocal solo. The invocation was offered by John Patrick and the benediction by Bishop Leo G. Robertson. Theron S. Hall dedicated the grave at the Evergreen cemetery. Mrs. Kendall was born in Springville Spring-ville July 30, 1903, a daughter of Benjamin and Edna Hall Wheeler. She received her education in the Springville schools and also attended at-tended the Brigham Young university, uni-versity, Provo. Before her marriage marri-age she taught school in Tooele, Price, and one year in Idaho. She took an active part in church work, having served in the primary pri-mary and M. I. A. organizations here and at Heber City. Surviving besides her husband are a daughter Kaye, 5; her mother, moth-er, and two brothers, Bert and Clyde Wheeler, Springville. Her father died two years ago. |
