Show KIWANIS CLUB ANNIVERSARY PARTY TONF Kiwanis club members of this city and their partners are scheduled sched-uled for a special treat at their weekly program and banquet Thursday night, when the fifteenth fif-teenth anniversary of the organization organi-zation of the local club will be observed. Harrison Conover, secretary sec-retary is scheduled to act as toast-master. toast-master. H W. R. Wallace, vice-president of the Utah Oil company, a member mem-ber of the state water conservation conserva-tion board, and at one time voted the first man in Salt Lake City 1 in point of service, will be the principal guest speaker. Mrs. F.C. Packard will entertain with vocal selections in addition to other program numbers. Widows of former club members will be invited to the entertainment entertain-ment as special guests. The club meeting last week featured fea-tured a program on scout activities, activi-ties, with Roy Dispain as toast-master. toast-master. A number of scouts also attended as special guests. Professor Pro-fessor Carl F. Eyring of the B-Y. B-Y. U., Provo, gave an interesting address on scouting. |
