FORK SET FOR FINAL TILT A goal which American Fork learns have dreamed of, the state championship, may be realized Friday Fri-day when the' Cavemen travel to Salt Lake City for the "B" Division Litle game with Bingham. It spelled disaster for the A. F. outfit. The Cavemen were definitely not ready for the more polished competition ant7 were left out in rthc cold against Jordan high's great eleven in a quarterfinal fray. The schedule was changed this year: American Fork did not meet Provo. meeting the "B"' teams of the region instead. A squad, rated stronger than last year's which lost to Jordan, came through the season without a loss, then took Moab in stride in a semi-final clash, and is now ready for the finale with Bingham. Bingham chalked up a brilliant 18-6 win over Delta, last year's champions in the other playoff game, and are rated as a touchdown touch-down or two better than the Region Three winners. Game time, Friday, is set for 2 p. m. at the University of Utah stadium. Coach Ingersoll of American Fork will take his entire squad to Salt Lake City for the contest Scores of Utah county fans are also expected to make the trek. Two other state titles will be decided this week. Uintah and Dixie high schools will battle for the six-man crown at Richfield a neutral field, Friday at 1:3C p. m.
