Show Black Hawk Social To Be Feature Attraction for Old and Young Here j One of the best entertainments of its kind ever given in Springville Spring-ville is planned for the annual Black Hawk get-together which will be held Saturday night, at Memorial hall, according to committeemen com-mitteemen in charge. Several hundred hun-dred people from Springville and surrounding cities are expected to attend. Everyone is asked to bring their own basket picnic and join in the big supper to be beld at p. .m. Long .tables will ue ai-ranged ai-ranged to accommodate everyone. Committee members will gladly inform anyone what to bring for the supper. Tables will be arranged ar-ranged according to awards. Immediately after the supper an excellent program is arranged. Opening music will be by Ralph Weight and Will Parry, after which there will be community singing. Mayor George A. Ander son will give a short speech of welcome and Glenn Holley and Freeman Bird will entertain with music. A stunt by Lorell Johnson John-son and company is scheduled, , after which John Hughes, state j captain, will make a few remarks. Music by the Arizona Wi anglers, a dance number by Tess C. Packard, Pack-ard, a vocal duev oy Jackie and Louise Evans, an accordion solo, by Ha Clyde, readings by Eli Tippetts, vocal selection by the fourth ward girls, remarks by Captain M. F. Miner, a duet by Max Mendenhall and company and a song and dance by James Curtis Cur-tis and company are among the fine numbers arranged for tile program. Following the program the remainder re-mainder of the evening will be spent dancing. Everyone is promised prom-ised a good sociable time. |
