Show LOCAL PEOPLE PLAN TO RIDE CHINA CLIPPER Parley Madsen of Heber City and his daughter Ardith Madsen, air stewardess both former residents resi-dents of SDringville, will be among the first Utahns to be passengers on the China Clipper when it crosses the Pacific ocean soon, bound for Honolulu. For Mr. Madsen, Mad-sen, it will be his first trip in the air, although his daughter has several sev-eral miles to her credit. Mr. Madsen, forest ranger, was transferred last fall from Springville Spring-ville to Heber City. Ardith graduated gradu-ated from the L. D. S. nurses trianing school about three years ago. The two left Salt Lake City Saturday. After a short stay in Honolulu they will make an extended ex-tended trip to the Orient. They plan to be gone about a month. |
