Show Busses Versus Railroad Theme Of Press Article The nation cannot afford to have buses substituted for railroads, rail-roads, according to an article appearing ap-pearing in The Waycross, Ga., Journal Herald.' The article goes i on to say: "The railroads perform services that buses will never be able to duplicate. du-plicate. This being true, it is to rhe interest of every citizen of the United States that the railroads be protected from unfair competition. "The best way to avoid unfair competition is to have railroads and buses placed under the same public service commission control and to see that such control does not discriminate in favor either of the buses or of the railroads.'' |
