Show FARM BODY Tl ELECT OFFICERS Annual Meeting: Is Set For Jan. 3; Vice President Will Report on National Convention; Conven-tion; Bergeson To Attend. The Utah County Farm Bureau Bu-reau will hold its annual meeting meet-ing and election of officers January 3 in the agricultural rooms in the city and county building, according to plans formulated at the directors meeting Saturday afternoon. The election ia held to replace I the present officers, whose terms of office expire at the end of the ear. The present officers are E. r. Clayson of American Fork, resident; Jesse Hall, Payson, vice jresident; A. J. Wright, Lindon; tfrs. I. J. Burr, Orem; Mrs. Einer hristensen, Spanish Fork, members mem-bers of the excutive committee. Mr. Hall declared de-clared Saturday that he received nuch valuable information at the convention to report at the January Janu-ary 3 meeting. It is expeoted that President Eph-raim Eph-raim Bergeson of the state organ-zation, organ-zation, as well as other members Df the state executive committee, will be in attendance. Canning crop prices and grades will be taken up at the state meeting. meet-ing. Mrs. Christensen gave a report on the work being accomplished by the home demonstration leaders in the county. Mrs. Effie Barrows, Mrs. A. C. Esplin and Miss Elna Miller, state specialists, have already al-ready given demonstrations in the county, Mrs. Christensen reported, and other specialists will also visit the county during the month of January. All of the executive members of the county farm bureau were in attendance at the Saturday meeting. |
