Show Kiwanis Stage Christmas Party For Youngsters Members of the Springville Kiwanis Ki-wanis club acted os Santa Claus to more than 40 cnlldren Thursday evening when they entertained them at the regular weekly luncheon lunch-eon in the Third ward amusement hall. A large, beautifully decorated Christmas tree was the central decorative figure from which Santa Claus distributed a gift to each child present. Mrs. Bell Crandall, who has acted as accompanist for the local club at various entertainments, entertain-ments, as well a during the igu-lar igu-lar weekly meetings, wss presented with a special Christmas gift of S25 from the club members. During tho luncheon a splenlid program was given as follows: Miss Catherine Dougall, solo; Mrs. J. O. Reynolds, reading; Miss Hazel Anderson, An-derson, violin solo; Miss Gliria Fricl, piano solo. C. O. Claudia was tcastmaster, and C. G. Salisbury-master Salisbury-master of ceremonies. |
