Show SPRINGVILLE BAND ENTERS TOURNAMENT Springville is one of the 26 bands entered thus far in Utah's largest arid most colorful music event; the third annual intermounlain band toUrnamGnt, which will be held at Price April 13, 14 and 15. : In the 1932 contest held at Price, Springville took third place in the Class B concert contest. .The schedule of events for the tournament is as follows: April 13 : Junior high concert contest, L. D. S. tablerriacle, 7:30 p. m. ; April 14 Instrumental solo (contests. (con-tests. Carbon high school building, 8:30 p. m., ensemble contests to be held in connection; Class C and D concert contests, tabernacle, ; 1:30 p. m.; dinner for directors and judges, G:30 p. m.; public dance, Silver Moon ball, 8:30 p.' hi. April 15 Class B and A concert contests, tabernacle, 9 a. m.; junior high1 parade contest, 1:30 p.; m.; senior high puiade contents, ;i p. m.; massed band concert and awarding of trophies, Kiwahis athletic field, 8 p. in., followed by dance. Free housing accommodations will be provided' all band members, mem-bers, and the bands will be afforded afford-ed convenient headquarters where they may keep then' instruments. |
