Show KIWANIS CLUB HOLDS ANNUAL HOLIDAYPARTY The residence of Mrs. Christie Lee took on a most festive appearance ap-pearance last Thursday evening, when about 65 Kiwanis club members mem-bers and children assembled for their annual Christmas party. A sumptuous dinner was served early in the evening, under the supervision of Mrs. Lee who was assisted by a number of the Third ward Relief society members. Dr. John R. Anderson acted as toast-master. toast-master. Miss Nedra Beal, Jack Parker, Richard Whiting, and David Beal entertianed Willi readings; read-ings; Shirley Peterson and Shirley Measom gave vocal solos; and Biil Knudsen and Bill Miller of Provo furnished instrumental music. Miss Gretchen Greenlee gave a Christmas Christ-mas story. After dinner the club members and guests retired to the spacious living room where a beautiful Christmas tree and other holiday motifs added spirit to the entertainment. enter-tainment. As a fitting climax to the evening's eve-ning's program, Santa Claus appeared ap-peared and presented each child with a Christmas stocking. The celebration will long be remembered remember-ed as an outstanding Christmas party for both club members and their guests. |
