Show THREE COUPLES TO CELEBRATE PAYSON An event of unusual interest will b celc-brateil in Pay-son Pay-son Wednesday when three prominent prom-inent couples life long residents of Pay son will celebrate their- golden wedding anniversaries. Fifty years ago, mix couples from Payson journeyed tq the Salt Lake Endowment house i where their marriages were solemnized. The j trip was made in three covered wagons and took two days to complete. com-plete. Three couples have been separated by death but all spent their entire married lives in Pay-son, Pay-son, raising large families and taking tak-ing prominent parts in affairs of the city and assisting in its growth and development. Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Bingham were bulu born in Payson, Mr. Bingham on January 8, lftDO, and Emma J. l-'owei.l on January 2b, 13S1. iMr. Bingham was a blacksmith black-smith h'y Irruli? and worked in the fame uhop jvr almost. SO years. Th'r family (.nsists of five daugh- I tarn, 10 gran ..'children and four ! great grandchildren. Tl.'i children are Mrs. Minerva Nebeker, Manila, Daggett county; M)-s. Areta Lou-tcMriock, Lou-tcMriock, Magna; Mrs. Emma Wilson; Wil-son; Mis. Gtinilla Simmons and ; Mrs. lild. Patten, Payson. All will ')e at the family dinner on Wednesday. Wed-nesday. Mr. and Mrs. John Done were also born in Payson. Mr. Done on August 7, 186 1, and Mary Jane W.i.son on September 12, 1SG2. Mr. Done and hiy entire family have been very prominent in the musical musi-cal line. He has also engaged in fanning. Their children are John L. Done, Mrs. Ada Taylor, Mrs. Inez Barney and Miss Iva Done, Payson; Ray L. ' Done, - Oakland, California; Melvtn Done, Richfield. They also have 14 grandchildren. The celebration will include a fain-' .ly dinner. Tl.'jmas H. Wilson was born in Payson , on November 10, 1860, and his wii'e, Amanda Caldwell was born at Fountain Green on May 3, 1SG3. She came to Payson when five years of age and made her home with her uncle, Harvey Moore until her jnarriage. Mr. Wil-sr.n Wil-sr.n engaged in the mercantile business busi-ness for many years and later farmed extensively. They have 11 living children. Ivan H. Wilson, Floyd Wilson, Mrs. Leila Gray, |
