Show Graham McNamee Knows World From Cabbages To Kings Probably one of the reasons Graham Gra-ham Mc.N'ainee is able to give such vivid and colorful talks on news events as he does in the Universal newsreel, is his wide knowledge of life which he gained by contact with men and women from every walk of life. He numbers among his . friends and acquaintances prize fighters and "sports," kings queens j and presidents. In his career as a broadcaster for National Broadcasting company he j has traveled everywhere and literal- I ly seen ail there is to see. He has I tried everything once and some j things oftener. in his broadcasting of sport events he has come in contact con-tact with the leaders of the prize ring and ihe riff raff hangers on. j He was official broadcaster for many occasions at the White House J and came to know Coolidge, Hoov- j cr and other officials well. Queen Marie of Rou mania is also numbered num-bered among his friends. McNamee is now telling the story of news events for the Universal j newsreel and will be heard news-casting news-casting at the Rivoli theater, Tuesday, Tues-day, Wednesday and Thursday. Friday Chapter two of "Detec-live "Detec-live Lloyd" will open at the Rivoli theater and cont inue Saturday. It is entitled "The Panther Strikes." The butler reports to Lloyd, who happens hap-pens to be in the house consulting with Mr. Hale. |
