A history of Andrew Nielson by Mrs. Whiting featured the meeting with readings by Neill Whiting; vocal duet, Hattie and Beth Jensen ; readings, Mrs. Hattie Nielson. About 20 members and guests attended. at-tended. Refreshments were served by Mrs. Whiting and assisting hostesses, Beckie Hall, and Hatt3 Nielson. During the serving each member was presented with a unique pioneer bonnet which was worn during the remainder of the parly. The Ladies' Literary club members mem-bers were guests of Mrs. T. L. Callister at her home Saturday afternoon. aft-ernoon. Mrs. Bert Groesbeck and Mrs. E. T. Crandall gave an interesting in-teresting lesson on "Greek Mythology" Myth-ology" in connection with a nun-, ber of Greek myths. Luncheon preceded pre-ceded the program being- served to 15 members present. Mr. and Mrs. Ted Payne entertained enter-tained a number of friends at a delightful party at their home last Wednesday evening. Games and luncheon were enjoyed by Mr. and Mrs. A. G. Male members of the Second ward choir entertained the ladies at a banquet and program at the amusement hall Monday evening. About 50 choir members attended. The party was the result of an attendance at-tendance contest between the mem- bers of the organization. The Friendship Circle club were guests of Mrs. Margaret Wing on Thursday evening. During progressive pro-gressive 500 Mrs. Bernice Beardall won high score prize. A delicious luncheon was served by the hostess host-ess to 12 club members and two j guests. The club will meet this evening at 8 o'clock at the home of Mrs. Florence Weight. Mr. and Mrs. George Crandall, , Mr. and Mrs. Arthur FLnley, Mr. , and Mrs. Ed Johnson, Mr. and Mrs. Leon Harrison, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Perham surprised Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Grant at their home Saturday evening. Progressive cards were enjoyed with Mrs. Ed Johnson ana George Crandall winning prizes. Luncheon was served in conclusion.
