SERVICES FOR j PATRICK WARD Reqiem High Mass was hold at the Catholic church in Provo this morning at 11 o'clock, for Patrick L. Ward, superintendent of maintenance main-tenance of ways for the D. & R. G. Western Railroad company. Mr. Ward dropped dead in the depot at Springville Friday noon. Father George celebrated the High mass and the sermon was delivered de-livered by Father Victor Herring. Fatl.'.r Victor played and sang the old Gregorian chnnt. Bo-n in Donegal, Ireland, March 1.-. 1862, Mr. Ward came to Spring-,-iile in 1SS3. He had made his hoire there ever since and had worked for the D. & R. G. Railroad company for 52 years. He was eligible for pension some time agr but continued to work. He was a member of the Modern Woodmen f M-.eiican, Great Oak Camp No. 10026, and was a member of the C:;t:iolic church. Surviving aio his widow, Rose O. Ward, and the following sons and daughters: Marie, Hugh J; Owen P. and Vincent Ward, Springville; Miss Erin Ward, Salt Lake and Miss Eha Ward, Helper.
