Among the items included in Mrs. Jones' report is that of the home gardens of the county. A total of 400 families obtained seed from the Red Cross last spring and 112 received instruction from the county agents in raising garden gar-den stuff. Throughout the county there are 330 homes adopting better adult habits with respect to the development develop-ment of the child following child care and training courses that were given by experts from the extension ex-tension division and by Mrs. Jones. There are 14 homes in the county coun-ty keeping home accounts, Mrs. Jones reports. Among the items included in their reports is that of one family which stales that a cow had supplied a value of $113 in food supply and milk sales. Another An-other family found that the farm supplied $137 to the living. In the home furnishing department depart-ment there were 1731 articles made. A reading program has been carried out also and a group of 20 organized at Pleasant Grove into a reading club. Mrs. Jones reported that of the 750 4-H club members in the county coun-ty 87.4 percent had completed their projects. There are G2 girls clubs with 530 girls enrolled, 415 completing their projects.
