Show SPRINGVILLE TAKES DUAL MEETPROVO Crandall and Thorne Are High Point Men in the Meet. Springville high school track nnd field athletes defeated the Provo high school track men in an interesting interest-ing dual meet in Springville Friday afternoon. The score was 55 to 49 in favor of the Springville school. The final result of the meet was in doubt nntil after the relay. Before Be-fore the beginning of the relay the score stood: Springville 50, Provo 49. B. Crandall of Springville was the shining light of the meet winning four first places. Each one of the dashes as well as the two shorter runs were captured by the fleet-footed fleet-footed Springville lad, who won 20 of the 55 points for his school besides be-sides assisting greatly in winning the relay. The Provo boys showed their superiority su-periority in the javelin throw where they captured every place. Paul Thorne was a close second point winner in the meet, performing perform-ing in nn exceptional way in the jumps and the weights. Principal Ray Done of Springville was referee of the meet, with A.
