Show CARS WRECKED ONE INJURED One automobile wrecked nnd practically demolished, and a collision colli-sion resulting in painful injuries to one passenger, occurred Hundny morning on the state highway near Provo. The collision occurred because be-cause of- the motorists' interest in watching the first -wreck. liohert Turner of Ileber and A. E. Doll of I.ehi were approaching the top of the Linden hill, where the shattered car which was wrecked wreck-ed .earlier . in the morning could he seen. Turner, who was in front of the Doll car. slowed down to view the scene of the accident, and Doll failed fail-ed to stop before colliding with file car ahead. The second car was badly damaged, and Mrs. Doll was thrown out and shaken up. She was taken to her home for treatment treat-ment of her injuries. The ownership card in the wrecked wreck-ed ear bore the name of Byron Green of the Modern hotel, Bingham, Bing-ham, it was announced following an investigation by Deputy Sheriff S. A. Willis. Although the car was practically demolished, the driver was not injured. The car was proceeding north vhen it ran with great force into the cement railing over a culvert near the top of the Vineyard hill. The front end of the car was completely com-pletely wrecked, and a piece of the front spring was hurled through the windshield into the hack seat. How Green was aide to escape without extremely serious injury seems almost miraculous. It is believed that the accident occurred because of the driver's falling asleep. |
