Show DEATH TAKES SPRINGVILLE MAN SUDDENLY Funeral services for James Ellis were held Wednesday afternoon in the Second ward chape!, with Bishop Bish-op William Wainwright in charge. .Mr. Ellis died suddenly Monday morning, Nov. 1. The invocation was liy George L. Hyde and the first musical number, Beautiful Isle of Somewhere," was sung by John Bailey. A male quartet, quar-tet, composed of M. E. Crandall, Earl Sumsion, Ernest Strong and Ralph isnelson, sang '"My Jesus, As Thou Wilt." The speakers were President G. R. Maycock and J. F. Bringhursr. The remaining musical numbers were a solo by Mrs. Guy Brown. "My Father Knows;" a solo by M. E. Crandall, "Oh My Father," and n selection by the quartet, "Saviour. Comfort Me." The benediction was hy C, A. J.ar-sen J.ar-sen of Spanish Fork. Interment was in Evergreen cemetery, where the grave was dedicated by William Grotegut of Spanish Fork. Death came to Mr. Ellis at five o'clock Monday morning, as he was preparing to go to work at the sugar factory, where he was employed. He was 52 years of age. He had been a resident of Springville many years, hut was horn in Spring City. Utah. The widow is the only survivor. |
