A banquet was served at high noon on board the boat at Geneva after which the guests were taken to Pelican Point: Dur- j .ing the trip radio music was enjoyed en-joyed and upon reaching their destination a pleasant time was spent outboard motoring. Luncheon : was served at sunset at Rock Island where the beauties of Utah lake were a delight to the following members of the party: Mr. and Mrs. J. O. Olsen of Salt Lake City. , An interesting announcement of the week is the engagement of Miss Inez Wheeler, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. Y. Wheeler of this city to Linclsey Parker, son of Mr and Mrs. W. G. Parker also c,f Spring- j ville. The ceremony will be performed per-formed in the Salt Lake temple May 29. Miss Wheeler was a teacher teach-er in the Jefferson school last ' winter. Mr. Parker is employed with the Dixon-Taylor-Russell Co ! in Provo. The young couple expect I to make their home in Springville. j An enjoyable evening was spent 1 Monday by members of the N I. P. club when they were entertained at I tlic home of Miss Hilda Clegg. I Radio music and social chat furnished fur-nished pleasant diversion. A delicious de-licious luncheon was served at one long table in the late evening.
