Show SPECIAL SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL REGISTRATION SEPT. 2 AND 3 LOCAL SCHOOLS OPEN SEPT. 7 When a student enters the Senior high school he f:ices the problem of a choice of subjects ami courses, lie may choose a college preparatory prepara-tory course, a general course which will lead to high school graduation gradua-tion or a commercial course which will prepare for entrance to a business busi-ness college or the field of business. Each course has its special requirements require-ments with certain subjects which should be taken each year. Many times a person's career is determined deter-mined by the course he selects in high school and the door of opportunity oppor-tunity is in a stent many cases closed because he did not elect the proper subjects. Parents and students should give high school registration very serious consideration. To make it possible to give proper attention to this problem. prob-lem. Principal Knudson has nr-j ranged for special registration days I Thursday and Friday Sept. 2nd and ' 3rd. The principal and faculty will be at the high school on these dates to give individual attention to each student's needs. Tenth grade students should choose the course they wish to follow fol-low and make tentative plans for the three years so as to nui't all requirements for the course selected. se-lected. Advanced students should have their passed nvords looked up to make sure they have received proper credit, and have taken the required work for graduation, then plan for the remainder of the course. Due to the large enrollment in the school it will bo necessary to limit the number in certain classes and special subjects. Preference will be given to students who register early for these classes. Tuesday, Sept. 7th will he registration regis-tration day for junior high school students and all regular class work will begin Wednesday Sept. sili. |
