Show YOUNG MOTHER LAID AT REST Funeral services were held in the Mapleton amusement hall Thursday afternoon for Mrs. Eliza Bradford Whiting, age 26, wife of Arictor Whiting, who died at the family home in Mapleton Tuesday morning of blood poison and flu. Bishop R. L. Mendenhall was In charge. The building was crowded to overflowing by the many relatives rela-tives from Springville, Mapleton and Spanish Fork. The floral offering of-fering was exceptionally large und beautiful. The speakers were Henry Gardner, Gard-ner, president of the Palmyra stake, G. R. Maycock, president of the Ko-lob Ko-lob stake, E. M. Snow of the Kolob stake presidency, and Bishop Mendenhall. Men-denhall. Music was furnished by the Mapleton Map-leton male quartet and a vocal solo by Elmer Bird. The invocation was by Bishop A. T. Money, of S pa n i s h Fo rk , and the benediction by Heber C. Jex of Salt Lake City. The grave in the Evergreen cemetery ceme-tery was dedicated by Isaac Brock-bank Brock-bank of Provo. Mrs. Whiting is survived by her husband and four little girls, all under six years of age. Also her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Roswell Bradford, three brothers and two sisters, all living in Spanish Fork. |
