Show BYU vs Kittens j Friday, 7:30 j in cage opener College basketball bursts on-'' on-'' to the sports scene at Brig- i ham Young University next 1 week when the varsity cagers meet the frosh in the Cougars' annual intrasquad game. The first public viewing of both squads is scheduled for Friday, Nov. 29 at 7:30 p.m. in the George Albert Smith Fieldhouse. The teams will play two regulation halves. Both teams have been practicing prac-ticing since mid-October and the intrasquad game will be played just a week before the j Cougars open the season against UCLA and USC in Los Angeles, Dec. 6-7. , 1 This year's game is being sponsored by the Cougar Club, a campus booster organization, with the gate proceeds going ; ' to the BYU travel fund. ; With the top five scorers from last year's team gone, !i Coach Stan Watts will be J starting from scratch with his 1963-64 team. Five lettermen are listed among those on the current 14-man varsity roster. Players listed on Watts' varsity var-sity roster are: GUARDS Mike Gardner j (6-0), junior letterman; Paul Millar (6-0), junior; George Rekoutis (5-11), junior transfer; trans-fer; Jeff Congdon (6-1), sophomore; soph-omore; and Dick Nemelka (6-0), (6-0), sopohomore.
