Show Civic Opera Co. sets special program Friday Roy Samuelson, nationally-aclaimed nationally-aclaimed Provo baritone, will head the list of prominent vocalists vo-calists who will appear in a full evening of favorite operatic oper-atic and musieal comedy selections selec-tions slated for 8:15 p.m. Friday Fri-day in the Provo high school 3 1 1 rli tnvi um Mrs. Victor J. Bird, president presi-dent of the Utah Valley Opera Association, said the program will bring together highlights from productions of recent years. Several ballet and mod-3rn mod-3rn dance numbers will be presented in addition to more than 15 vocal solos, duets and chorus selections. One section of 300 seats has been reserved by the Sons of Utah Pioneers for delegates who will be attending the national encampment of the organization in Provo Aug. 16-18, according to Dr. T. Earl Pardoe, co-chairman of the program. The remaining 600 seats will be available to the public. Helen Weeks, Orem will sing selections from "Madam Butterfly" But-terfly" and "Carmen." Nowel Twitchel of Provo will sing an aria from "The Barber of Seville," Se-ville," and Dwight Ladle will sing a selection from "Carmen." "Car-men." William Peterson, of Peasant Peas-ant Grove, and LaRue Kirk, Orem, will sing "Some Enchanted Enchan-ted Evening" and "I'm in love With a Wonderful Guy" from "South Pacific." A male chorus will also sing "Nothing Like a Dame" from the same show. Wanda Peterson, American .
