Hyde family was together over the weekend at a reunion at the family home, 858 Brookside Drive, before they departed for various parts of the country. Don and Susan P. Mllner and their three children came from Provo, where Mr. Milner has been attending summer school at the "Y" working on his masters degree. They are returning to Tucson, Ariz., where he will continue teach-ing in high school. Also home for a visit were Charles and Phyllis Hyde and their five children of Pocatel-lo- , Ida. Charles is just finish-ing an $1100 summer academic institute in astron-omy and mathematics at the University of Oklahoma at Norman, Okla. The institute was an intensive introduction to the science of astronomy from a mathematical view-point. A graduate of Springville high school and BYU, Charles has been selected to partici-pate in a $5000 year-lon- g pro-gram of academic institute at the State University of South Dakota at Vermillion, S.D. He will study and conduct re- - search during 1963-6- 4 school year as one of 5 science teach-ers from twelve north-centr- al states winning the selection. Upon completion of the year, he will have his Masters de-gree. He has taught at Poca-tell- o high school for the past five years. Also at the reunion were Rodney and Nanette Clark and Bill and Margaret Hyde all of Salt Lake City . Visiting and lunching were enjoyed by the family. Mrs. Erva Childs enjoyed a visit from her son France Childs and wife and family of .Richfield over the weekend. They came also to attend the Patten family reunion in Provo, Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Harry Hulce and daughter Margaret and sons Kenneth and Jim are home from an extended vaca- - tion which took them to Zion, Bryce and Grand Canyons, the Bryce, Grand Canyons, Sand Dunes, Page, Arizona and the Glen Canyon dam. They also spent two days at Vernal, vis-- ; iting Dinosaur National Park and the Flaming Gorge dam. They also took a trip to Grantsville to see the Hobble Creek team play and spent a short time at Tremonton, where they visited a son H. Michael Hulce and wife and family. They also spent a short time at Twin Lakes, Ida., on a fishing trip. Mr. and Mrs. Blaine Boyer and four children of Newark, Calif., have returned to their home after spending a week with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Hill Cumorah, New York. Former Springville people take wedding vows on westcoast Announcement is made this week of the marriage of Miss Carolyn Cranmer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. M. K. Cranmer of Oxnard, Calif., formerly of Springville and Joseph Jane-ce- k, son of Mrs. Anna Jane-ce- k of Riverside, Iowa. The bride is also the grand-daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Cranmer of this city and the groom is a grandson of Mrs. Meda Evans Ellsworth of Payson, formerly of Spring-ville. The marriage took place July 27 in a double ring cere-mony at a Santa Clark, Calif., church. Given in marriage by her father, the bride was attired in a full-leng- th silk organza gown with a sabrina neckline of chantilly lace and lilly point-ed sleeves. Two wide borders of chantilly lace adorned the bottom of the gown and four roses of chantilly lace with petals of silk organza on strips of lace, trimmed the front of the gown and down the back. A prince rose held her il-lusion veil. Her bridel bouquet was of white rose-bud- s center-ed with an orchid. Miss Shirley Cranmer, sister of the bride, was maid of hon-or and she and the bridesmaid, Mrs. Carolyn Meyer, wore iden- - tical gowns of yellow nylon with white lace bodice and full length sleeves. They carried yellow rose-bu- and white car-nations. Miss Julie Cranmer, cousin of the bride, also attired in yellow, was flower girl. Robert Walsh, San Jose, Calif., friend of the groom and Jay Cranmer, uncle of the bride, were best men. A reception followed the marriage, at the home of the brides parents and the couple later honeymooned in Las Ve-gas.
