Fish was caught but the poSe nearly got away Home from a two week's fishing trip to Fish Lake and Otter Creek Reservoir which is north of Antimony, Mr. and Mrs. Alma Fullmer report not only good fishing but a rather unique fishing experience. After a week at Fish Lake they were joined by Mr. and Mrs. Tom Averett. Later in the week, they went to Otter Creek Reservoir about 40 miles south of Fish Lake. After watching three fishermen get their limit from the bank, Mr. Fullmer noticed that his pole had disappeared out into the water. He then offered, to buy one of the Fishermen's outfits as they were leaving and he was without a pole. After complet-ing the deal, he decided to cast his mife's pole with heavy sinkers out into the water and to his amasement, and to make an exciting fish story short, he reeled in his old pole and on the end of the long line was a fighting four and a half pound fish. Mr. Fullmer reported that at Fish Lake, they attended Sun-day School at the Lodge and also fast meeting at which 169 people were in attendance. |
