Coming from Bountiful were Mrs. Dorothy Nott and her daughters and their husbands, Mr. and Mrs. Dan Covington and Mr. and Mrs. Bob Everette together with Mr. and Mrs. Charles Wall . and son Kelley from Salt Lake City. Mrs. William Micheal Rodrique, the former Miss Mary Ellen Dibble of Mapleton who was married Saturday Mar. 31 and with her husband will make a home in Salt Lake. Mapleton girl, Salt Lake man honored at lovely open house The new Mr. and Mrs. Wil- liam Micheal Rodrique received guests at an open house reception re-ception Saturday March 31 in the Mapleton ward chapel. The couple exchanged vows that morning in impressive ceremonies cere-monies in Salt Lake City surrounded sur-rounded by .close relatives. The bride is the former Mary Ellen Dibble, pretty , daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fay Dibble of Mapleton. Mr. and Mrs. William Wil-liam E. Rodrique of Provo are parents of the groom. For her wedding the bride chose a gown of white taffeta fashioned with a portrait neckline neck-line and long tapered sleeves. The floor length skirt was Dibble and Margie Hutbhings. In charge of serving were Ruth and Lynette Tippetts and Vicky Dibble assisted by the following boys: Allan Dibble, Craig Whiting, Kay Tuttle, David Dickerson, Clark Johnson, John-son, Kirk Norwood and Billy Jacobson. The focal point of the serving room was the wedding wed-ding cake decorated in white accented with peach and lime colored florets. It was made of two layers of hearts supported with pearl pillars and topped with white wedding bells. Guests were served at small tables .centered with crystal swans with floating mums. Gifts were displayed by Stella Shorty, Emily Lakko, Evelyn Warren and Larraine Lesler. The bride is a graduate of the Springville high school and seminary and also graduated as a nurse from St. Benedicts of Ogden. She is currently employed em-ployed at the LDS hospital in Salt Lake City. The groom graduated from the Provo high school and has completed four years service in the US Navy. He plans to continue his studies at the University of Utah this fall. After a short honeymoon they will make their home in Salt Lake City. Out of town guests who were in Mapleton for the wedding wed-ding were Mr. and Mrs. CI eon Lesler of San Gabriel, Calif., finished with a smart bustle back. A crown of seed pearls held her butterfly veil and she carried a bouquet of white orchids or-chids surrounded with talisman roses. The bride's sister Marva Dibble Dib-ble was maid of honor and bridesmaids were Ann Kimber-ling, Kimber-ling, Julia Rodrique and Toni Parsons wearing sheaths of peach colored brocade and matching bride's maid hats and carrying nosegays of white mums. Bob Madsen assisted as best man. Greeting guests with the newly weds were their parents. For her daughter's wedding Mrs. Dibble chose blue and Mrs. Rodrique was charming in a gold colored sheath. Each wore .complimentry corsages. Greeting guests at the door were Paul Dibble and helping ushers were John McCall and Niel Hutchison. The guest book was signed under supervision of Beverly |
