Show Texas miss, Mapleto'n man wed in Manti Temple rites One of the prettiest brides of the late winter season was Carolyn Joyce Mansell who became be-came the bride of Joseph Howell How-ell Banks in ceremonies performed per-formed at the Manti Temple March 16. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Rd Man sell of Houston, Texas and the groom is the son of Mr and Mrs. J. P. Banks of Mapleton. A wedding reception was given for them on the evening of the 16th in the Mapleton LDS Chapel where they were greeted by their many relatives and friends. ' ter at Snow College and c " pleted one year at the Ev prior to fulfilling a LDS rr' sion in the Spanish Amenv' ' mission. They plan to make tt. home in Mapleton. with a tapering waist and sweetheart neckline, sequin and bead trimmed. Her floor length skirt was finished with a small train in the back. Her filmy veil' fell shoulder length from a crown of sequins se-quins and beads. She carried a bridal bouquet of orchids circled with .talisman rose buds. The duties of best man were performed by Carl LobaCk Jr. Greeting guests with the newlyweds were the mother of the bride and father of the groom. Mrs. Mansell was attractive at-tractive in a beige brocade with complimentary hat and gloves, and a corsage of baby orchids and tiny mums. Acting as matron of honor was Mrs. Carl Loback, sister of the groom. Birdesmaids were Grace Banks, Elsa An-dreason An-dreason and Beverly Banks 1 who all looked smart in mod- ' ified sheaths made of federal gold sanora fabric and each carried cresent shaped nose- gays of yellow mums. A beautiful white four tier wedding cake trimmed with i bells, bows and lily of the valley centered the serving |
