Class of 1931 holds reunion, awards prizes The high school Class of 1931 held the 30th anniversary reunion re-union at the Social Center in Spanish Fork Saturday evening, even-ing, with 30 members and their partners attending. A dinner and visiting with each class member taking time to tell about his or her life since graduation days, made for delightful entertainment. entertain-ment. To Glenn Tipton went the prize for maintaining the smallest (?) waistline; to Roe Thorn for the least hair; Helen W. Wiscombe, the most grandchildren; to Eva H. Allan Al-lan of Mesquite, Nev., for traveling tra-veling the fartherest; to Lucille Lu-cille H. Harmon, for the most accomplishments with her family fam-ily of ten sons and daughters, having come second in a recent re-cent contest for the most outstanding out-standing in the state; to Reed Averett for the least changed. Named to arrange for another an-other reunion in 1966, were: Reed Averett, Glenn Tipton, Leona Wilson, Wanda S. Peay and Maurine F. Mortensen. The dinner tables were uniquely un-iquely decorated with red i-oses and the high school colors col-ors of red and blue with tiny dolls dressed in cap and gown and holding diplomas centering center-ing the table on which were also arranged place cards featuring red devils holding blue flags with a red "S" and a picture of the class member forming the red devil face at the time of graduation. Class members coming from out-of-town for the affair were: Wilford Weight, Leona Peterson, Warwick Palfrey-man, Palfrey-man, Arthur Mendenhall, Salt Lake City; Margaret B. Williams, Wil-liams, Payson; Marie S. Roach, Fern B. Olsen, Ina H. Williams of Spanish Fork; Blanch C. Wright, Hurricane; Fawn L. |
