Show Springville Fourth Ward takes second in district tournament losing none; Third 8-4; Tenth 8-4; Seventh 5-7; Fifth 3-9; Ninth 3-9; Eighth 0-12. Springville stake's Fourth ward Jr. M Men team completed com-pleted a highly successful basketball bas-ketball season having won the stake title and finished second in the District 8 meet held last week in Spanish Fork. They lost out in the finals by one point. It was the first loss of the season for the team, which is an enviable record. Coaching the Fourth warders was Bud Averett. Players included: in-cluded: Boyd Hansen, Hal Sheppard, Doyle Rooks, John Child, Grant Roylance, Jim Ek-ker, Ek-ker, Melvin Rostron, Rex Miner, Mi-ner, Terry Killpack and Paul Prothero. This team will play an exhibition ex-hibition erame with an all-star team from the stake Saturday night, March 4 at 7:30 p.m. at the high school gym. The proceeds pro-ceeds from the game will go toward a ward project. The public is invited.
