Show Music leaders assist with orchestra move George Puckett and Harmon Hatch, Springville High School music directors, will assist with the auditions, rehearsals, and conducting of a Utah County youth symphony orchestra which is being planned for outstanding out-standing instrumental musicians musi-cians of high school and junior jun-ior high school age, it has been annouced by Dr. Crawford Gates, .chairman of the Brig- ham Young University Music Department. Rehearsals will be held twice a month on Saturdays, 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the East Lounge of BYU Social Hall. Auditions will be held Nov. 5, 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. by the Utah County high school music directors. First full rehearsal will be held Nov. 19 conducted by Dr. Goodman. Good-man. Outstanding literature will be presented and soloists will be selected as guest artists to perform per-form with the youth orchestra. Guest conductors will include many of the Utah County music mu-sic directors.
