The couple spent a few days in Southern Utah before taking tak-ing up housekeeping at their home, 673 North Eighth East, Provo. The bride will continue her work as a registered nurse at Utah Valley Hospital, while Mr. Stewart prepares to teach at the BYU this fall while working on his Masters degree. Recently married Mr. and Mrs. David D. Stewart will make Provo t'.'elr home following recent temple marriage and reception. She was the former Miss Sharon Althouse. Sharon Althouse, D. D. Stewart take wedding vows in temple Attending the guest book was Maris McBride, while George and Gerald Althouse and Hans Harris were ushers. Serving were Marilyn Ames, Donna Anderson, Mrs. Jerry Smith and Mrs. Collin Allan. Decorations for the reception recep-tion were carried out in pink and green with tall baskets of flowers and white candelabra Charming Miss Sharon Alt-house Alt-house became the bride of David Da-vid D. Stewart in a Salt Lake Temple ceremony July 1 and they were honored the same evening with a lovely reception recep-tion in the Third-Ninth ward church. ' Standing with the couple were Mrs. Glenn Wilson, matron ma-tron of honor and Mrs. Denny Pickering, Mrs. Curt Gilchrist, Mrs. Denny Bond and Mrs. Don Stephenson, bridesmaids, with Khristy Lynne Wilson, Susan Harris and Marsha Anderson, An-derson, flower girls. Grant Thompson of Provo, was best man. The bride chose for her wedding wed-ding attire a combination of Chantilly lace and bridal satin with full floor-length skirt, high neckline and tapered sleeves. Her veil fell from a crown of seed pearls and sequins se-quins and she carried a bouquet bou-quet of pink and white roses and stephanotis. Her attendants wore embossed embos-sed cotton sheaths with over-skirts over-skirts of flowered nylon in pastel pas-tel shades with matching hats and carried white baskets of pink and white flowers., Mrs. W. E. Newman, mother of the bride, chose a blue cotton cot-ton for her daughter's wedding and Mrs. Vonda H. Stewart, mother of the groom,! wore pink. Their corsages in contrasting con-trasting shades were of carnations. |
