Show ...A blaze which - -began when two storage houses exploded ex-ploded at the powder plant owned by American Cy ana-mid ana-mid Co., Wednesday afternoon, after-noon, threatened other storage stor-age facilities and was burning burn-ing the face of Mapleton mountain at press time. A stiff breeze from southeast south-east hampered the work of firemen from Springvilie and Spanish Fork, but bulldozers put in operation were expected ex-pected to bring the blaze under un-der control. Hundreds of cars stopped but were moved along by police po-lice officers who feared an explosion. No one was injured in-jured in the fire, the exact cause of which could not be learned at press time. |
