Show KoSob Stake sets two nights; Springvilie shows Tuesday Kolob and Springvilie stakes will stage their traditional road shows Monday and Tuesday Tues-day nights in their respective stakes announces Mrs. Jessie Dalton and Melvin Taylor, Kolob stake drama leaders and Mrs. Merle Schrei-ner, Schrei-ner, Springvilie stake director. Road shows in the Kolob stake on Monday night will be presented particularly for wards holding Monday MIA meetings. Tuesday night the shows will be repeated for those wards holding Mutual that night. They will begin at 7:30 each night in the air-conditioned air-conditioned new stake house recreation hall. Themed to "The day everyone every-one was Happy," the entertainment enter-tainment will consist of seven acts, each of which will have incorporated in or separately done, entre acts which will introduce in-troduce the respective road show. The First ward will present pre-sent "The Enchanted Kingdom" King-dom" with Patricia Bartlett directing. Second ward will present "McDonald's Prodigal Son" directed fcy Carol Reed; Sixth ward, "Cloud Six" directed di-rected by Woodrow Weight; Eleventh, "In the Shade of the Apple Tree," Charlotte Hall, director; Twelfth, "A Little Bit of Blarney," Jean Brown, director; Mapleton, "Spring is Spring," Rhea Williams, Wil-liams, director; Mapleton Second, Sec-ond, "Joe Butterfly goes to the Convention," Doris Rowberry, director. The acts will be rated by competent judges and the winner win-ner will take part in the division divi-sion road shows Aug. 5th at Spanish Fork. Springvilie stake will present its Road Shows in the Springvilie Spring-vilie Junior high school on the same nights. Monday, however will be a dress rehearsal presentation pre-sentation for members of the respective ward road show casts. The public is invited Tuesday night beginning at 7:30 p.m. at the school. The shows will be centered around the theme "Do You Remember?" with ward drama directors in charge of each act. There will be about 25 participants for each of the seven wards. Several of the acts will have original music written for their particular act. Judges will select the outstanding out-standing show which will be presented at the Divisional meet in Spanish Fork Aug. 5. |
