Mr. and Mrs. Joe Bobbins and Mr. and Mrs. Dwaine Williams Wil-liams have just returned from San iDego, Calif., where they visited Mr. and Mrs. Verl Miner Mi-ner (Carol Eve Fullmer) and two children and Mr. and Mrs. . Kent Harper. At Chula Vista, Calif., they called on Mr. and Mrs. Darrell Wright; also Diane Di-ane Measom, who is spending the summer there. They also visited Disneyland and other j places of interest and also ! went into Mexico. On the way down, they visited John A. . Humphries and other relatives in St. George. Mrs. Miner and i j children returned to Spring- ' ville with them for a visit. ji I Eleven-year-old Melody Wills Wil-ls j cox, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. i' Henry Wilcox Jr., delighted a I : large crowd attending a fam-;; fam-;; ily reunion in Salt Lake City ji i recently with her can-can, tap ! and cha-cha dance numbers, v 1 Mr. & Mrs. John K. Bailey returned home recently from a trip to California and were accompanied ac-companied home by their son Pvt. Ronald M. Davis, who is spending a 10-day furlough here from Fort Ord, Calif. They toured San Francisco, Sacramento and Reno before returning home. Pvt. Davis, who will leave July 28, for Fort Leonard Wood in Missouri, Mis-souri, received a certificate of Achievement in recognition of outstanding performance of duty while taking basic. He was selected as the outstanding trainee of Co. B, 5th Battle Cp. 1st Brigade (RFA) training. |
