Show Bantam awards presented; games set Sat. Short talks by team sponsors spon-sors Grant Thorn and Howard Maycock along with remarks by Coach Stan Watts of the BYU and General M. W. Watts of the National Guard as founder foun-der of Bantam Basketball, featured fea-tured the program held at the Armory last Saturday morning. Awards were presented to Hawks 20, Fashion Furniture Devils 14; Thorn's Bears 25, Kiwanis Colts 18; 20-30 Eagles 25, Springville Bank 19. On Feb. 22 ,the 20-30 Eagles will play the Price championshop team in a playoff game toward a tourney berth. the sponsors by Warrant Officer Offi-cer Robert" Bringhurst, who also presented Craig Johnson with the first prize, a basketball, basket-ball, for selling $30.50 worth of tickets for the Utah Society for Crippled Children. Wendell Olsen received a $10.00 gift certificate. Ronny Cutshall, Carl Jensen, and David Giles each received knee pads for their selling job. Approximately Approximat-ely $200 was collected for the benefit. Games Sat., Feb. 20 pit the Springville Bank against the Fashion Furniture team at 9 a.m. The Jaycee Hawks play the Kiwanis Colts at'l0:00 a.m. and the Thorn Bears meet the 20:30 Eagles at 11:00.
