Supper was ser-e- d at long tables with the aditional Scout motif. A film f the river run was shown by ,oy Despain and awards were lade to scouts in their various roups. Ray Whiting was in liarge of the Mapieton ward rogram and Harold Whiting erformed the duties of M. C. l the Mapieton Second ward. Welcome home services were iven Sunday evening in the lapleton ward church for hostesses were Alga Mackley, Vanda Jensen, Inez Harmer and Amanda Binks. A tasty luncheon was served at noon followed by an afternoon of needle work and visiting. The next meeting will be at the home of Mrs. Harriet Nielson in Spanish Fork on February 25. A social evening of dinner and fun was sponsored by the Mapieton Jaycees Saturday evening in Mapieton Memorial Hall where the guests arrived in Western style. During the evening prizes were awarded to Pete Johnson of Spanish Fork who won a sleeping bag and Mrs. Nelda Leifson of Mapieton won the star quilt. Following the dance a group of Jaycees met at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Neno Antineno for an early Western style breakfast. Young Brent Antonino was honored on his second birth-da- y with a dinner which was attended by his grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Toni Antoneno and Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Whit-ing of Springville. Both the Primaries of the Mapieton wards enjoyed a pic-ture show Saturday 'in the ward Recreation Hall the pro-ceeds of which will be used to finance their organization. The Fireside Chat for the M Men and Gleaners was given by Mary Sue Taylor at the home of her parents Mr. and Mrs. Dan Taylor Sunday even-ing when they listened to the Youth Program. The opening and closing prayers were given by his bro-thers Mike and Dan Taylor. Lynn Bird left for Califor-nia last week where he will be a guest of his sister and brother-in-la- Mr. and Mrs. Frank Oberhansley and their family. . Mr. and Mrs. Dean Binks and son Randy have moved to Bell Gardens, Calif., to make their home. Dean is employed and finishing his final quarter in College in night school and will graduate this spring. The Needle Craft Club were entertained at the home of Mrs. Marva Whiting Thursday of last week where the co- - The younger group met at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lee Bartholomew where the pro-gram was sponsored by their son Lee. Both meetings were well attended. Mr. and Mrs. Russell Walker and family of Provo have pur-chased the Richard Thompson home. The Thompsons have moved to Provo. Mr. and Mrs. Reid M.
