Show fe& Mite inn hmlly-hM mm If you'd like to enter a local contest in which you have a better chance of winning than going to the moon in the near future, and if you want to have a lot of fun doing it, plan on entering the "Who's Who in Springville or Mapleton," contest con-test starting next week in the Springville Herald. It costs you nothing to enter! en-ter! ... no sales slips, jingles purchases, entry blanks no fuss or bother. You just play a fascinating fun game, and if you play it well and Lady Luck smiles on you a little, you could wind up with a nice bit of cash. Even if you don't win, you'll have lots of fun trying! , And the whole family can get in on the game. Each member mem-ber of the family is welcome to enter the contest provided he or she is old enough to fill out his own entry blank. It really pays to make it a family fam-ily game. The reason, of course, is that Mom, Dad, or some bright-eyed youngster MAY spot a clue that everyone else misses. Next week start looking over the group of small ads under the title "Who's Who in Springville or Mapleton." Hidden in some of these ads will be clues to the identity of some person right here in the Springville or Mapleton area. All clues will relate to ONE person. By studying the clues, you may be able to figure out who that person is. And if you study further, you MAY be able to locate ALL the clues in the paper for that issue. Clues will be located ONLY in the ads of the merchants who are sponsoring the family-fun family-fun contest. Every one of these merchants will have a small ad in the "Who's Who" section. sec-tion. And some of the sponsoring, sponsor-ing, merchants will have one or more ads in some other parts of the paper. There may be any number of clues hidden in ANY ad of ANY sponsoring merchant. Whenever one of the sponsoring spon-soring merchants has one or more ads elsewhere in the paper, there will be a star in his little ad in the "Who's Who" section to warn you. You will be trying to guess the identity of the personality of the week AND trying to compile a perfect list of clues. We may make the first part of this easy in next week's paper but beyond that, you're on your own! You drop your entry off at the place indicated each. week. There will be more than one place, and you can enter at more than one if you wish. You don't have to hurry down to try to be first because a drawing will be held to determine de-termine the winner (you don't have to be present at the drawing draw-ing to win). The first entry drawn that correctly identifies WHO'S WHO may win as much as $30 if that entry has a perfect per-fect list of clues. Even if that entry doesn't have a perfect list, it will win $10. But if the full amount is not won because of an imperfect imper-fect list of clues, there will be $20.00 added to next week's prize and the jackpot will continue to grow until it IS won ! |
