Show Funeral Services Held Sat. for Floss P. Johnson Many friends and relatives paid tribute to the memory of Floss Packard Johnson, 72, wife of A. G. Johnson, at funeral fun-eral services Saturday afternoon after-noon in the Third-Ninth ward church. Burial was in the Evergreen cemetery, directed by Wheeler Mortuary. Mrs. Johnson died unexpectedly unexpect-edly Thursday morning at the family residence 138 North Main Street of a heart attack. She had been in good health until Wednesday afternoon when she became ill while visiting visit-ing at the home of her sister, Mrs. L. B. (Rhea) Tackett in Provo. Born in Springville September Septem-ber 20, 1886, she was a daughter daugh-ter of Dr. Nephi and Clara Sanford Packard. She taught school for three years in Springville and later served as a substitute teacher many years. Later she operated a beauty salon in this city and was serving as an operator in a beauty salon at the time of her death. She was married to A. G. (Gus) Johnson June 22, 1911, and they had made their home here always. Surviving besides her husband hus-band are five brothers and sisters: sis-ters: Mrs. Tackett of Provo; Mrs. W. E. (Clara) White and Ira Packard of Ogden; Mrs. C. L. (Marell) Carter of Riverside, Calif.; W. S. Packard of Idaho Falls, Ida. |
