Newlyweds Reside in Springville Following Reception, Honeymoon Now at home in Springville following recent re-cent Salt Lake Temple rites and a honeymoon to the canyons of Southern Utah, are Newlv- weds, Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Carlen. Car-len. The bride, formerly Dian Brown, is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Wood and the groom's parents are Mr. and Mrs. Evan Carlen also of Springville. The evening following the wedding ceremony, the couple greeted relatives and friends at a reception in the Third-Ninth Third-Ninth ward church, standing in an archway of yellow roses and brown ruffling. For the occasion, the bride chose a wedding gown of Chantilly lace with full floor-length floor-length skirt and fitted bodice. Her veil fell from a crown of seed-pearls and sequins and she carried a bouquet of yellow rose-buds centered with a white yellow-throated orchid and streamers of stephanotis. Orange, gold and brown shades of late autumn were further emphasized in the attendants at-tendants attire and flowers. Mrs. Kenneth Long was matron mat-ron of honor; Mrs. George Black, Mrs. Annie Brown, Neva Chapel, Kathleen King and Virginia Vir-ginia Lutz, bridesmaids. Kenneth Ken-neth Long acted as best man. At the guest book were Mrs. Melvin Hill and Rosalee Stevens. Stev-ens. Gerald Hutchings was usher. In the gift room were Mrs. Clair Barney, Mrs. Dick Fullmer, Full-mer, Conda and Maria Weight, assisted by Marilyn Moulton and Carol and Alice Johnson. From a table decorated in late autumn shades, refreshments refresh-ments were served by Ann McDonald, Mc-Donald, Barbara Houtz, Mel-anie Mel-anie Crandall, Christie Cran-dall Cran-dall and Claudia Witt. A beautiful 3-tiered wedding cake decorated in shades of gold, orange and brown and baskets of cut flowers set the color scheme for the early winter win-ter wedding. |
