C. Packard. Rea Straw will be in charge of the lesson SuAnne Hansen Became Bride Of Richard Fullmer January 19 In impressive rites at the home of the brides parents, pretty Miss SuAnne Hansen, daugh- ter of Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Hansen of this citv. became the bride of Richard Fullmer--, son of Mrs. Ethel Fullmer of Springville and the late John Fullmer. The couple are now honeymooning on the west coast. The marriage was performed by Glen A. . Christensen of Springville Stake presidency, the evening of January 19 in the presence of immediate family members and close iriends of the couple. Later they were honored at an in-formal reception at Melody Inn. For the date, the bride chose a silver green gown of heavy satin with pink corsage. They were unattended. Mrs. Steve Miller and Mrs. Marvin Cox greeted guests at che door and Mrs. James Dun-can attended the guest book. Refreshments were in charge of Miss Vivian Nazer of Los Angeles, and serving was done by Rosalie Stevens and Nancy Packard. In charge of the trousseau room and arranging the gifts were Linda Decker and Sandra Bingham of Provo, assisted by Mrs. Bill Kapp. Little Phillip Hansen and Marcia Hansen were gift bearers. An effective color theme of pink and white was carried out in room and table decorations using white mums and pink wedding bells. Music was furnished through-out the ' evening by Bill Kapp at the organ. The bride and groom are both graduates of the Spring-ville high school where they were prominent in scholastic and social affairs. Richard has also attended the Brigham Young University. They plan to make their home in Springville. A number of social events honored the bride before her marriage including a nicely ar-ranged personal shower given at the home- of Mrs. Marvin Cox and attended by a large group of relatives and friends. r ., ' " : V ... mm-;- - 1 ' T '" ' i I Mrs. Virginia R. Stewart, who has been engaged to teach in the high school Home Living department suc-ceeding Mrs. Carol K. Man-wari-who was married re-cently. Springville Man Will Take Bride In California Rites February 12th An announcement of interest to relatives and friends in Springville is the engagement of Miss Ruth Milliken, daughter of Mrs. Ona Milli- - ken or fctowarden, Iowa, to Mark Dale Law, son of Mr. and Mrs. Mark Law. The marriage will take place next Thursday, February 12, at Carmel, Calif., and following a wedding trip on the west coast and to Mexico City, the couple will be in Springville for a vi-sit with relatives and friends the latter part of the month. The bride elect is a graduate of Iowa State Teachers College and has been employed as a teacher in San Francisco, Calif, the past two years. Mark Dale graduated from high school and LDS Seminary here and received his B. A. de-gree from the UCLA, Calif. He served two years in the army and has been employed for the past five years in the Los An-geles area where they will make their home. Stewart of Spanish Fork, wife of Clark Stewart, an instructor at the BYU, has been engaged to teach in the high school home living department succeeding Mrs. Carol K. Manwaring. A graduate of the BYU with a degree in dietics in 1947, Mrs. Stewart taught two years in high school in California during the five years they liv-ed there and did graduate work at Fresno State College. In 1957, she returned to the BYU and did graduate work on her Masters in Child Development and taught in the Nursery school there in child develop-ment classes. She has four children rang-ing in ages from one to 11 years. Her husband is a bishop in a Spanish Fork ward. ' f i K ' , r i Miss Wilma Fullmer whose engagement to Duane Williams is being announced this week. Miss Wilma Fullmer Engagement To Duane Williams Made Known j A highlight of nuptial news this week is announcement of the engagement of Miss Wilma Fullmer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William W. Fullmer of this city to Duane Williams, son of Mr. and Mrs. H. T. Williams also of Springville. No definite date for the wed-ding has been set. The pretty bride-to-b- e is a graduate of the Springville high school and LDS Seminary and is presently employed in secretarial work in Provo. Duane also graduated from! the Springville high and re-cently returned home from ser-ving four years in the U. S. Navy. a Club Group Enjoys Hobby Exhibition Aureole club members were guests of Mrs. Ralph Child for their meeting Tuesday evening. The program took up an-other phase of art to coincide with the club's yearly art theme and featured Mrs. Mary Ellen Huckins of Provo in an exhibition of her unique hobby. She showed how she had cre-ated pictures with seeds, dried weeds, pods and numerous other natural items. Her sis-ter, Mrs. Zella Griffiths of Spring' Lake accompanied her as a guest. In a short business meeting, the club group suggested names for the Mother of the Year to be presented to the Club Council. The meeting concluded with lunch served by the hostess. District Club Convention At a meeting- of club presi-dents of Nebo First district at the home of Dist. President Mrs. J. E. Andrews at Nephi Wednesday evening.
