Corsages of gold mums were worn by grandmothers of the bride and groom, Mrs. Ernest Harmer of Springville and Mrs. Anne Braithwaite of Sp. Fork. Mr. and Mrs. John James and Mr. and Mrs. Foster Niel-so- n, Spanish Fork, greeted guests at the door, and Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Snow attend-ed the guest registry. David Long, Provo, LaCell Harmer, Springville and Roy Vincent, Bell, Calif., were the ushers. Focal point in the refresh-ment area was a heart-shape- d wedding cake frosted with white and touched with gold. In charge of refreshments were Mr. and Mrs. Wendall James, Mrs. Ross Fillmore and Mrs. Elmo Courts. Serving were Renee Winters, Lynn Ro- - bertson, Jeanette Craig, and Cecil Gowers. Mrs. Ed Hutton presided as hostess and passing napkins was little Susan Jack-son and Nancy Bowen of the bride's Sunday School class. Gifts were arranged by Mrs. Jay Madsen and Mrs. William Frederickson, Mrs. Robert and Mrs. Rulon Henrichsen. Vincent, the former Miss Evelyn Harmer, who recited wedding vows in recent church rites, now resid-ing in Spanish Fork. Lovely Wedding Ceremony Unites Evelyn Harmer and W. S. Vincent Newlyweds Mr. and Mrs. Walden S. Vin-cent are making their home in Spanish Fork, following1 recent wedding rites and reception in Springville and a few days wedding trip. The bride-ele- ct is the for-mer Miss Evelyn Harmer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Or-v- al Harmer of this city and the groom's parents are Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Vincent of Bell, Calif. In a striking autumn setting of yellow roses and baskets of gold and bronze chrysanthe-mums, the couple recited wed-ding vows with Clarence L. Jensen, former bishop of the Ninth ward performing the ceremony. A reception at the Third-Nint- h ward church fol-lowed. The bride's gown was fash ioned of lace and net with lace bodice, long pointed sleeves and bouffant skirt. The scal-loped neckline finished with sequin embroidery and her fin-gertip veil of illusion fell from a pearl-studde- d tiara. Her bouquet was yellow-throate- d orchid surrounded with snowy white stephanotis. Shades of brown and gold were worn by her attendants, Mrs. David Long, Provo, a sis-ter, matron of honor; Nina Madsen, Rosalee Stevens, Shar-len- e Jones and Linda Harmer, bridesmaids; and Michelle Vin-cent of Bell, Calif., flower girl. They carried fans of Les Jolli Femme Entertains Guests Twenty three members and guests attended the Les Jolli Femme guest day party Wed-nesday evening at the home of Helen Metcalf. Barts served lunch early and Monte Carlo Whist was also enjoyed. Doll figurines were present-ed each guest and the game prize went to Mrs. Genevieve Schougaard. I V V- "!. ; M I Yvonne Ames, Kaae Cook Plan For Temple Wedding Nov. 25th Wedding bells will ring soon for pretty Miss Yvonne Ames, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R. Burley Ames of this city and E. Kaae Cook, son of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Cook also of Springville. They have set the date of their wedding for Wednes-day, November 25, in the Salt Lake Temple, and the same evening they will be honored at a wedding reception in the Springville Stake House. Both are graduates of the Springville High School and LDS Seminary. The bride-ele- ct was homecoming queen, a cheerleader and was also president of the Boosters Club. JC Wives Hear Talk On Mental Health Halloween set the theme for the Springville JC Wives Oc-tober meeting at Melody Inn Wednesday. Witches, ghosts, pumpkins, black cats and lovely fall flowers arranged throughout the room by Patti Willis, Mary Jane Jarvis and Joell Swenson were in keeping with the Hal-loween theme. Dinner was served to mem-bers and guests, the latter in-cluding Lois Brandon and Lou Harrison. Mary Jane Jarvis' color group was in charge of the meeting.
